Well, what to say about this boy... his record both in and out of the ring speaks volumes so we will let that do the talking... In 2007 "Ruckus" was the # 1 Sheltie male & # 6 Herding Dog in Canada who has 200+ Best of Breed career wins to his credit! He was also #1 Sheltie and a top Herding Dog in 2006. "Ruckus" proved himself over and over again, and in more than one venue. He sired 3 litters and has 4 Canadian Champions and 2 Argentine Grand/International/Carribian/ Paraguain/World Best in Show Champions... with others who have points to their credit! His conformation record was simply outstanding... with All Breed Best in Shows totalling THIRTEEN, a Eukanuba Invitational Award of Excellence, Best of Breed at 2 Working/Herding Specialties, 2 Best of Opposite at Sheltie Specialties as well as a Specialty Award of Merit - all owner handled to boot! And just to prove he was beauty with brains, he was also Herding Instinct Certified and Canadian Good Neighbour Certified! At 10 1/2 years young Ruckus wins Select Dog under breeder judge Kim Schive - we are so proud!!! At 11 1/2 he wins the 10 and over Veteran male class under breeder judge JoAnne Pavey - he still had what it took! |
LorWin's Heart Breaker MBIS MBPIS Am/Can GCh Talamar Raze Aruckus At LorWin CGN, HC x BPIB Harmonyacre LorWin Meant To Be PCD, CGN November 2006 - August 2016 |
What to say about "Breaker"... he had the structure, temperament, movement, attitude and head piece we'd been waiting and looking for! We always believed that one day we would have found the perfect non-white factored bitch to breed him to! So disappointed that never happened. |

BINSS MBIS GCH EX Havntyme El Vengador AOM CGN November 8, 2004 - December 20, 2019 |
"Benson" finished very quickly as a puppy with Group 1sts and numerous other Group placements as well as multiple Best Puppy in Groups. "Benson", who is more often called "Boo" than Benson, came to live with Lorette at 8 months of age and she has since done all of his training, conditioning and handling - they took a 3 year break and did some agility training but after their history creating achievements in the conformation ring, decided to come back and have some fun this time around! Lorette and Benson began making breed history in June 2006 when they went out and won their first Best In Show - Benson was only the 2nd Havanese in Canada to achieve this honor and even more of an honor, was the first to be owner handled to the win! Thank you Mr Rick Glendinning! On August 5, 2007 "Benson" created breed history for the 2nd time - he and Lorette attended the Canadian National Specialty in Calgary, AB and came home with the Best of Breed in National Specialty Show win! Thank you to Mr. Carlos Fernandez-Renau (Spain) for this very exciting and most prestigious win! Right after the National Lorette took him and had all of his health testing while in Calgary - results are posted below, then Benson and Lorette took a break from the show ring, relaxed for a little while and then went and played in agility. Benson loved it but like any true show dog he missed the attention received in the show ring, so Lorette agreed that it was time to go back. On May 7, 2011, Boo's first out-of-retirement show day, Mr Thomas Alexander has also added his name to this history making little black and white boy by awarding him his second Best in Show win! This is one boy who will never be forgotten by so many. |
Ch Cynchar Illusion At LorWin MBIS Am/Can GCh Talamar Raze Aruckus At LorWin CGN, HC x Ch Talamar's Just A Moment February 2004 - November 2018 |
CH "Gigi" is our Ruckus daughter that was purchased from Cynchar Shelties in Alberta. She finished her championship very quickly under breeder judges at Specialties and her first time in the ring as a Special beat her sire and other Specials for the breed and went on to take a Group 2nd! She then went on to become the dam of our beautiful trio, CH Nova, CH Mia and our resident couch potato, Drummer-dog. |
MBPIS GCH LorWin's Casanova Zesta Impressario x CH Cynchar's Illusion At LorWin December 10, 2011 - January 25, 2019 |
GCh Nova left a huge hole in our hearts when he left us so unexpectedly and at what we consider to be such a young age. He was an amazing show dog and started winning breed over Special as a junior puppy and continued winning up until he became a Veteran. We were about to bring him out when we lost him to Pancreatitis and that is when his litter sister Ch Mia stepped up to fill his paw prints in the ring and she went over and above to prove her love for her brother. He also, is forever in out hearts. |
